Before your wedding, you should prepare letters for mailing to various companies and organizations – including credit card issuers, financial institutions, utilities, magazine subscriptions, memberships in cultural organizations (museums, symphonies, etc.), doctors and dentists, the Motor Vehicle Bureau, and employers – giving the bride’s new name (if appropriate) and any new addresses. The groom should prepare his own set of letters to the same types of companies and organizations. Mail the letters when you return from your honeymoon.
