Here is something you need to be aware of on the day of youre wedding. This was not a wedding I worked. (Whew!)  The groom put gift envelopes in his jacket pocket.  He got up to dance and left his jacket on the back of his chair.  After the honeymoon, the couple realized that the envelope from the bride’s parents was not among their gifts.  Fortunately, the videographer for the wedding caught on tape the removal of gift envelopes from the groom’s jacket by a guest at the wedding.  Family Feud!

 

Lesson:  Arrange for someone you trust to take charge of your gifts and envelopes and to transport them to a safe location after the wedding.  Many event planners will not perform this service
