If you live in the northeast and are trying to get around to wedding showcases, you know what it's like driving in the snow and ice.  Keep a bag of kitty litter in the trunk of your car.  If you get stuck on ice, pour the litter under the wheels of your car.  It will absorb moisture and give you some traction.  If you don't use the litter by the end of the season, donate it to a friend with a kitty or to a local animal shelter.  Drive carefully!  You will find other helpful hints about planning your wedding in my book To Do Before "I Do" available at www.LuLu.com.  Rita
