As promised, here is another travel tip to keep in mind when you’re planning your honeymoon getaway!  When traveling, take photographs of your luggage and its contents.  These can be used as evidence if your bag is lost or stolen. Obviously, do not put the photos inside your luggage, but keep them with you in your carry-on bag.  When your bag is returned, open it in front of an authorized person to be sure all your possessions are there and use the photos to compare the contents.   It is hard to convince the airlines that something is missing from your luggage after you’ve taken it home.

Wrap an interesting strap or ribbon across your luggage so it’s easily seen when it comes down the shut and onto the luggage carousel.  Use heavy-duty Velcro to keep the strap or ribbon attached.  Bows or buckles can get caught on the conveyor belts and cause your bag to be damaged or jammed in a chute.  Happy Travels!  Rita
